Boundaries Beyond the Basics

Helping you strengthen your relationships with others — and yourself.

How often do you say yes when you really mean no?

Do you make decisions out of obligation? Put other people’s needs above your own without thinking? Or find yourself feeling resentful because you’re constantly giving more than you actually want to give?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, stronger boundaries may be exactly what you need.

Boundaries aren’t simply about keeping people out. They help protect what matters to you — your peace, your time, your relationships, and your relationship with yourself.
Boundaries Beyond the Basics is a six-week therapy group designed to help you develop healthier, stronger, and more aligned boundaries in your everyday relationships.

Our Philosophy

At TRUE Space, therapy is not about “fixing” you — it’s about helping you reconnect with yourself. We believe healing is collaborative: you are the expert of your own life, and we partner with you using evidence-based practices and culturally attuned approaches.

We also recognize that healing is not a linear process. Our role is to create a safe space, provide tools, and guide you as you navigate challenges, embrace growth, and step into your best self.

Looking for Community & Sisterhood?

Sometimes healing also happens in community. Alongside individual and family care at TRUE Space, our founder also leads Black Women in Color (BWIC) — a membership-based wellness community created by Black women, for Black women.

Through BWIC, members experience:

  • Monthly Intentional Events — curated for connection, joy, and restoration.

  • Exclusive Membership Perks — including priority access to events, discounts, and members-only resources.

  • A Supportive Sisterhood — a safe space to grow, heal, and thrive with like-minded women.

If you’re seeking community care in addition to therapy services, BWIC offers the sisterhood and support you’ve been looking for.
