Daizha Hunter
Qualified Mental Health Professional
Hi, I’m Daizha Hunter. I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Governors State University, and I’m passionate about supporting Black women who are ready to prioritize their mental health and well-being. Growing up in the South Suburbs of Chicago, I’ve seen how important it is to have safe spaces to be heard, seen, and valued. My goal is to help you find that space, one where you can process your emotions, release what no longer serves you, and step into the life you want to lead.
I take an integrative approach to therapy because I know there’s no one-size-fits-all solution. I meet you where you are and help guide you toward where you want to be. I draw from techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Mindfulness, all tailored to your needs.
I understand how difficult it can be to find a therapist who truly gets you. My aim is to provide a judgment-free, supportive space where you can be your authentic self, explore your feelings, and develop tools to grow, heal, and show up in life as your best self. Change isn’t always easy, but you don’t have to do it alone, I’m here to walk with you every step of the way.
